Vacation Qoutes

Good thing there’s this person on my yahoo address book that sends out vacation packages every month. There are a couple of local destinations and some Asian trips.

It’s one of my things of to-do list, that is, to take a vacation somewhere… somewhere local or somewhere near… not too far like in Davao vacations stuffs like that… sabi ng Itchyworms sa kanilang Self Titled album, Ang gusto ko lamang sa buhay ay mag travel ng mag trave… in my case, mag travel at manood ng True Blood at Burn Notice. :)

Phasing Out

Have you seen the new iPAD gadget? Though, there are still questions about it, it is just common in all launching high technology softwares and hardwares in our modern life. Don’t you think that they are just over reacting on inventing these new things as I’ve been calling this fast phasing world?

How will the MP3 players be by next year, how will the laptops been called in the next 5 years? The gadgets that we are using right now will soon be phased out and they are of no use in just a flick of time. That is sad to hear on those who had invested their whole life just to buy these things and then just be unusable for such a quick time as that.

Talking About Renovation

We’re very fortunate of having our own house and not renting at all. All you need to pay for are your monthly bills such as electricity, water, cable and internet connection (if you’ve subscribed one), food, and other miscellaneous and necessities. That’s why it’s a hassle if you still have a monthly rental expenses. It’s the thing that we’re just lucky to have and thankful of having that you shouldn’t think I’m boasting on it.

My husband and I were just planning of slowly having it renovated, one at a time, as what we wanted to see it. For us to have our home being convenient, comfortable and happy to live with. We’re starting to plan from what lighting fixture to put up to what motif to have that will all be coordinated. Hopefully, we can fulfill our plans within the year or two more. Hope that “Bro” will grant our prayers never forgetting to accompany it with hard work.

Inexpensive Benefits

Just as I’ve been looking for a cheap term life insurance, my friend has been asking if I know where to get one too. Looking practically, who doesn’t want to have one? On its words itself, it’s a life insurance that you can pay in a cheap term.

It is very hard to find both. That you can have the most benefits offered in an insurance and paying inexpensively for it. It’s like that you don’t want to have a give and take relationship between the company you’ll be availing insurance to and you as customer/client. It is also like that you want to be insured in a company that will file bankruptcy status later. Wish me luck in searching.

Implant Dentist Plano

I’m quite familiar with the implant dentist Plano. My friend asked me about this before but just remembered that Plano is a place where they are searching for an implant dentist. So there you go, I still have good memories despite of having injected by multiple anesthesia.

I wonder what Plano looks like. Well, I’ll try searching for it as well in the net why don’t I? Maybe in time I can go there also. Yet on my busy schedule in the office, I now don’t have the time to browse more unlike on my previous role. Isn’t it ironic? Don’t you think? Sounds like Alanis M.

Momofuku Noodle Bar, The Origins

Momofuku, a series of restaurants owned by David Chang (chef). On this post you will learn tons of things about this famous Noodle Restaurant!

Before we even start with the origin of the Momofuku Noodle Bar, lets first find out what is Momofuku, where did it come from and other things related to Momofuku and the noodle bars and restaurants.

Momofuku Ando

First and foremost, Momofuku Ando is the inventor of instant noodles and those noodles in cups, yeah, the cup noodles.

Momofuku Ando was born Wu Pai-fu into a wealthy Taiwanese family in Chiayi, Taiwan in 1910, when Taiwan was a part of the Empire of Japan. Ando’s parents died when he was at an early age. He was raised by his grandparents in Tainan, Taiwan. His grandparents owned a small textiles store, which inspired him to start his own textiles company using 190,000 yen, at the age of 22, in Eirakuch?, Taipei. In 1933, Ando travelled to Osaka, Japan on business. After World War II, Ando became a Japanese citizen and moved to Japan, where he entered Ritsumeikan University and at the same time founded a small merchandising firm in Osaka with the inheritance from his family.

Invention of Instant Noodles by Momofuku Ando
The whole instant noodle invention of Mr. Momofuku Ando was because of the shortage of food during the post- World War II. That is, with Japan still suffering from a shortage of food in the post-war era, the Ministry of Health tried to encourage people to eat bread made from wheat flour that was supplied by the United States.

Momofuku Ando wondered why bread was recommended instead of noodles, which were more familiar to Japanese people. The Ministry’s response was that noodle companies were too small and unstable to satisfy supply needs, so Ando decided to develop the production of noodles by himself. The experience convinced him that “Peace will come to the world when the people have enough to eat.”

I say, if there another great thing that came out from the war it’s the invention of Momofuku Ando’s instant noodles and cup noodles.

Momofuku Noodle Bar by David Chang

Momofuku Noodle Bar series of restaurant is a chain of restaurant spearheaded by David Chang.

David Chang (born August 5, 1977) is a noted Korean-American chef. He is chef/owner of Momofuku Noodle Bar, Momofuku Ko and Momofuku Ssäm Bar in New York City.[1] Chang attended Trinity College, where he majored in religious studies. Chang later attended the French Culinary Institute (FCI).

For those who don’t know, Mesothelioma is a form or cancer caused by over exposure to asbestos.

Currently he have seen a couple of doctors apparently are expert on the field but still his state is not improving. His friends, including myself are also trying to lend a hand, helping him in whatever it is that he needs. I am online most of the time and I am looking for information or hopefully some breakthrough about this kind of cancer. You can help too, if you know any thing that can help, please share em. Thanks.

Danger Diet Pills

As I’ve always wanted to have on my family. I, all the time, want to have natural intake on any food or medicines we need, as much as possible. I’m glad that we now had natural medicines created or maybe just advertised. From simple cough medicines which I now prefer for my children, to diet pills for those who need it.

Though I don’t really take diet pills because firstly, as I’ve said, that I only want natural for us. So I’m taking the long term of diet for now. And secondly, that I’m afraid of the side effects of diet pills.
