Surviving the Winter Times

Not everyday could be sunny day, there are also times when winter comes. Some people prefer to stay at home with their family, and some go out for vacation. When winter is already in, you have to take of yourself and your kids too from the very cold weather.

You have to be very careful about choosing the winter clothing for you and especially for your child. If your child is going out then make sure that your child is properly wearing the warm clothes. It would be a smart choice to prefer the Arcteryx Sidewinder Jacket for the winter time. And with the addition of gloves and socks.

Vacation Notion

I’ve been reading some of my colleagues’ blogs. They’ve been squandering their hard earned money and their busy time in the effort of finding the best Branson vacation packages. I wish I can afford to take vacations as that. It’s like they don’t have anything to put their money on to just plan an expensive vacation as mentioned.

I’m not blaming them and I’m not being self pity, but maybe it’s really not my passion. Because honestly, in every travel I’m taking, especially with my children aboard, I’m always ending up being a mother of wanting to have us finish all of our trips safe and sound, and I’m forgetting to enjoy our moments together because of such worries.

Talking About Renovation

We’re very fortunate of having our own house and not renting at all. All you need to pay for are your monthly bills such as electricity, water, cable and internet connection (if you’ve subscribed one), food, and other miscellaneous and necessities. That’s why it’s a hassle if you still have a monthly rental expenses. It’s the thing that we’re just lucky to have and thankful of having that you shouldn’t think I’m boasting on it.

My husband and I were just planning of slowly having it renovated, one at a time, as what we wanted to see it. For us to have our home being convenient, comfortable and happy to live with. We’re starting to plan from what lighting fixture to put up to what motif to have that will all be coordinated. Hopefully, we can fulfill our plans within the year or two more. Hope that “Bro” will grant our prayers never forgetting to accompany it with hard work.

Inexpensive Benefits

Just as I’ve been looking for a cheap term life insurance, my friend has been asking if I know where to get one too. Looking practically, who doesn’t want to have one? On its words itself, it’s a life insurance that you can pay in a cheap term.

It is very hard to find both. That you can have the most benefits offered in an insurance and paying inexpensively for it. It’s like that you don’t want to have a give and take relationship between the company you’ll be availing insurance to and you as customer/client. It is also like that you want to be insured in a company that will file bankruptcy status later. Wish me luck in searching.

Daddy Chef

Let’s take a break on our quotes and SMS posting and let me tell you something about my cooking prowess! hehehe…

Did you know that matt and sean‘s daddy (me) can cook? Oh yes sir! I can and I can do it splendidly by the way!

When I was in high school I use to cook different kinds of filipino dishes like Adobo, Tinola, Sinigang and other using my mom’s old recipe. I was masipag back then with high tech Rubis equipment!

Now that I’m a dad, I kind of like, lost my cooking powers! LOL my wife took over.. who is also a great cook btw. :D

Globe Telecoms To Release iPhone 3G, Wife says NO!

The post title ticked me when I was about to write the whole thing.

xda zinc

Yesterday I wrote about Globe releasing iphone 3G on August 22, 2008. I told my wife about and asked her if she’s interested in getting a post paid subscription from Globe (P1,500 probably with P22,000 something cash out), she said ‘no’.

Me, being a Smart subscriber for almost 8 years now, have no plan of getting another one just to get an iphone 3g Unit and I’m sure hell not going to get a pre-paid unit that will cost me around Php48,000+! No way jose! :D

I might as well, stay with my current XDA Zinc pocket pc phone that to burn 50,000 pesos.

Wise Qoutes From Nanay

We had a very serious talk with mother last night the wife and I. We have this issue that has been going on for some time now and we need someone to like ‘moderate’ the situation… so we asked for mom’s help.

She gave these advises that were very true and the wisdom behind it was … super, she has this wisdom that only mother have you know?

Those are what I want to list here and make it an official ‘qoutes‘ post.

I will collect my thoughts about it and update this one later.
