China experienced an 6.9 magnitude earthquake. According to Chinese state television says that death toll in a western province has climbed to 400 while the number of injured went to more than 10,000as the rescue workers struggle to dig trapped people out in Qinghai Provinces. And due to telecommunications problems, with the phone lines down, rescue efforts have been hindered.

Earthquakes was been experienced in the past months, worst was in Haiti last January with 7.0 magnitude, where the Haitian goverment report that the number of person died were between 217,000 and 230,000. Next was in Chile in February, with 8.8 magnitude and with 723 fatal casualties(as reported). Hopefully we won’t experience such disaster in our country.
