Second Day of Eltroxine

August 2, and this is also the second day I’m taking in Eltroxine. I am not trying to be the top authority for the ‘eltroxine’ keyword or the ‘hypothyroidism’ or anything like that, I just want to document things that is happening to me during this medication period – which is for life.

Like I said yesterday, this medicine is a thyroid hormone supplement. Looks like my thyroid is no longer producing enough amount of whatever-it-is-secreting and I need to take those pills.

BTW, don’t have it confused with Phentermine.

Phentermine is a drug under the amphetamine and phenethylamine class. It itself is not an amphetamine. In 1959, the FDA approved this substance as an appetite suppressant drug and since then has been widely used to help obese patients to suppress hunger and lose weight.
